Welcome to Audlem Theatre Company
In 2024 Adam (A very techy guy) said it would be a great idea for a bunch of 30+ year old people to make a website. As you can see we're currently pretty useless. With a lot of blood, swearing and tears you can now purchase tickets directly from the website. By doing this it saves us an absolute fortune and means we can invest more into our beloved company. Please bear with us and we'll have it looking beautiful as soon as possible.
Bringing drama, laughter, and community spirit to Audlem for over 30 years!
What started in 1995 as a “one-off” revival of the village pantomime has grown into a thriving theatre group at the heart of the village. From our much-loved annual pantomime to original plays, short films, and our famous 24-Hour Musical, we love creating opportunities for all ages to get involved in theatre.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer, a behind-the-scenes enthusiast, or just here to enjoy the show – there’s a place for you at Audlem Theatre Company.

ABOUT

Welcome to Audlem Theatre Company
After a 20-year hiatus, Dot & Jim Timmis and George Katterloher revived the village pantomime in 1995 by staging “Aladdin and his Magic Lamp”. The intention was for this to be a one-off production – little did they know that over 30 years later, the curtain would still be rising on our shows, with our company stronger than ever.
From 1997 we became known as the Audlem All Ages Acting and Performing Arts Company (or the Audlem 5As for short), before rebranding in 2019 to our current name – Audlem Theatre Company. While our name has evolved, our purpose has never changed: to provide opportunities for the people of Audlem to participate in theatre, with a particular focus on nurturing young talent.
Our flagship annual pantomime remains a beloved village tradition, but our productions don’t stop there. Over the years we’ve staged a wide variety of plays – many written by our own members – as well as short films, and in more recent times, our much-anticipated 24-Hour Musical has become a highlight of the local calendar. We also love getting involved with important village events, and even found ourselves on national TV when Dom Littlewood visited Audlem to discuss the possibility of the village becoming Welsh for free prescriptions!
At Audlem Theatre Company, there really is something for everyone – whether you want to be centre stage, work behind the scenes, or simply enjoy the show from the audience. We’re proud to be part of Audlem’s creative heartbeat and can’t wait to welcome you to our next production.
