As the curtain falls on our 2026 pantomime Jack & the Beanstalk, we’re taking a moment to look back on what has been a truly fantastic five-show run — and what a run it was!
From the very start, this year’s panto felt special. Our dress rehearsal set the tone beautifully, as we welcomed VIP guests, members of the press, and past performers into the audience. The buzz in the room was electric, and it was incredibly rewarding to share our first full performance with people who have been part of our journey over the years. The feedback from that evening gave us a huge boost and confirmed that something magical was about to happen.
And wow — our audiences did not disappoint.
Across all five performances, we were overwhelmed by the response. Laughter rang through the hall night after night, and the comments we received afterwards meant the world to us. Audience members described the show as “a totally hilarious and phenomenal panto” and “the best one yet — totally inspirational.” Hearing reactions like that makes every late night, rehearsal, and last-minute tweak completely worthwhile.
This year’s production was truly elevated by the costumes, set, and overall production values, which added colour, scale, and sparkle to every scene. Each detail helped bring the story to life and created a world that audiences of all ages could escape into — classic panto with a fresh, vibrant feel.
But more than anything else, the real heart of Jack & the Beanstalk 2026 was the people.
Our cast, both on stage and off, gave absolutely everything. From principal roles to ensemble, from seasoned performers to those stepping up into new challenges, the commitment, energy, and talent on display were outstanding. Alongside them, our backstage and creative teams worked tirelessly behind the scenes — often unseen, but never unappreciated — putting in a huge amount of time, effort, and care to ensure every performance ran smoothly.
This year reminded us that while sets and costumes help tell the story, it’s the people who make it unforgettable.
To everyone involved — performers, crew, creatives, volunteers, sponsors, supporters, and of course our wonderful audiences — thank you for being part of such a memorable production. Jack & the Beanstalk 2026 will stay with us for a long time, and we couldn’t be prouder of what we achieved together.
Here’s to the memories made… and to whatever magic comes next 🎭✨
